Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Dig Down Labs (“we”), which runs Football Notes (the app and https://app.footballnotes.com). By creating an account or using Football Notes, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you’re under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian’s permission. One person per account; keep your sign-in secure.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
Football Notes is for fans. We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You may not post or send content that:
- harasses, threatens, bullies, or targets any person or group;
- is hateful or demeaning based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar traits;
- is sexually explicit, depicts graphic violence, or exploits minors in any way;
- is spam, a scam, impersonation, or misleading about who you are;
- infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, or privacy;
- encourages illegal activity or self-harm.
Anyone can report content or a user in the app. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules, and may suspend or remove accounts that post it. You can also mute or block anyone at any time.
Your content
You own what you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute it to run and promote Football Notes (for example, showing your post in the feeds it’s placed in, or in a share preview). The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies others have already shared or that we must keep by law. You’re responsible for what you post and confirm you have the rights to it.
Points, games, and premium content
Points, streaks, leaderboards, and trivia are for fun. They have no cash value, can’t be bought, sold, or transferred, and may be adjusted if we find abuse or errors. No purchase is needed to play.
Automated and partner content
Some content comes from partners or is generated automatically (for example, score cards and AI-written previews). It’s always labelled. It may contain errors; don’t rely on it for anything important.
Not affiliated with the NFL
Football Notes is an independent fan community. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Football League or any team. Team names are used only to identify the teams fans are talking about.
Copyright complaints (DMCA)
If you believe content on Football Notes infringes your copyright, email support@footballnotes.com with: your contact details; a description of the work; a link to the content; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you’re authorized to act; and your physical or electronic signature. We remove infringing content and terminate repeat infringers.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time (how). We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or put other users or the service at risk.
Disclaimers and limits
Football Notes is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for content posted by others. Our total liability for any claim is limited to US $50.
App store terms
If you got the app from Apple’s App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and isn’t responsible for any claims relating to the app (including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or intellectual-property claims). If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you’re not in a country subject to a US government embargo or on a US prohibited-parties list. The same applies, with the necessary changes, to Google Play.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we’ll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Football Notes after that means you accept the new terms.
